Job summary

Northern Star Resources Limited is seeking a Mill Operator for a full-time on-site role in Delta Junction, AK. The position supports grinding, gravity separation, flotation, leach/CIP, elution, tailings filtration, and related processing to optimise gold production and recovery.

The operator will assist with basic maintenance and uphold safety standards. The role requires the ability to work 14 days on, 7 days off, in extreme conditions at a remote camp.

Qualifications

• Experience in grinding, gravity, flotation, Leach/CIP, tailings filtration, paste backfill, mine water treatment, and/or reagent mixing.
• Experience operating plant and equipment.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely start up, operate, and shut down all equipment in the work area.
• Troubleshoot and correct circuit and equipment problems.
• Record and maintain operator log sheets.
• Identify and report machinery maintenance needs.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure safety procedures are followed.
