Job summary

Northern Star Resources Ltd. is seeking an Underground Miner - Jumbo Operator in Delta Junction, Alaska. The role focuses on safe, efficient operation of underground equipment, jumbo drills, and related mining tasks within a remote camp setting.

You will support shift handovers, perform pre-start checks, maintain equipment and contribute to site safety and productivity while adhering to MSHA standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide leadership and training to new team members.
• Current Driver's License.
• Awareness of the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) Act & Regulations.
• Be able to pass a background check and post offer physical.

Responsibilities

• Operate underground equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform tasks including Jumbo drilling, truck driving and other mining duties.
• Liaise with Shift Supervisor and prior crew to obtain necessary information.
• Carry out pre-start checks and report hazards or incidents.
• Maintain housekeeping and ensure compliance with MSHA requirements.
