Job summary

Northern Star Resources Limited is seeking a Mill Maintenance Planner for a full-time role in Delta Junction, AK. The role focuses on scheduling all routine maintenance and resource allocation to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability between planned tasks.

The position requires experience in fixed plant maintenance planning, MSHA awareness, and strong organizational skills. On-site rotation includes remote camp housing, with comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Driver's License required.
• Experience in fixed plant planning/scheduling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain work order status from creation to closure with notes and codes.
• Organize and schedule downtime with Operations, Maintenance, Warehouse and vendors.
• Plan preventive maintenance and repairs with the Maintenance teams.
• Ensure correct parts are staged for scheduled maintenance and back log repairs.
• Create preventive maintenance schedules and work orders, and ensure procedures are included in orders.
• Generate purchase requisitions and ensure correct coding and posting.
• Evaluate component rebuild options vs. new procurement and communicate decisions.
• Coordinate with vendors and warehousing to confirm stock and quantities.
• Prepare weekly PM and backlog reports for relevant crews and conduct scheduling meetings.
