Job summary

Keystone Cooperative is seeking a dedicated team member for livestock feed production and related duties in New Castle, Indiana. The role involves manufacturing feed, paperwork, and warehouse tasks, with forklift operation and truck loading/unloading as part of daily activities.

You will work on Sundays overnight to Monday-Thursday overnight shifts, collaborating with a small team to ensure accurate records, safe handling, and timely deliveries. Prior agriculture exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required; agricultural background is beneficial.
• Ability to learn new software and operate basic systems.
• Strong teamwork, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Comfort with mechanical tasks and safe operating practices.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture livestock feed and complete associated paperwork.
• Load/unload trucks and handle grain with safe procedures.
• Provide customer service and maintain warehouse areas.
• Perform routine housekeeping and basic preventative maintenance.
• Operate scales for inbound/outbound shipments.

Approximate Hours for shift are:Sundays 8 PM to 7 AM and Monday thru Thursday 11PM to 7AM

Position Overview:

Primary duties to include the manufacturing of livestock feed and all related paperwork. Additional duties to include loading/unloading trucks, customer service, grounds and equipment maintenance, warehouse maintenance, and other related feed production duties, forklift operation and grain handling.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Must be able to work independently and efficiently with little or no supervision.
• Assist other mill employees with operating activities.
• Operate scales for inbound and outbound trucks.
• Performing basic preventative maintenance, including housekeeping items.
• Understanding the feed ingredients and proper handling techniques.
• Accurately distribute feed directly to a feed truck.
• Operate equipment safely.
• Consistently follow all laws, regulations, and safety rules.
• Properly complete necessary paperwork and records.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:
