Job summary

Capstone Copper is seeking a Supervisor, Mill Operations at Pinto Valley in Arizona. The role directs mill processing activities to safely and efficiently process ore, achieving production targets, concentrate grade, and cost objectives.

Responsibilities include supervising Processing Technicians, ensuring MSHA compliance, coordinating with maintenance, and driving continuous improvement across circuits. Strong leadership and a background in concentrator/mill operations are required.

Qualifications

• Three years of concentrator/mill-related experience in production execution areas.
• Strong working knowledge of processing operations and practices.
• Ability to speak, comprehend, read, and write English.

Responsibilities

• Safety & compliance: ensure work adheres to MSHA and company safety requirements.
• Team leadership: recruit, develop, coach and review performance of the operations team.
• Production execution: direct mill operations to meet production, quality, and cost targets.
• Maintenance coordination: coordinate with maintenance to maximize equipment availability.
• Operational reporting: ensure accurate daily, shift, and monthly reports.
