Job summary

Kinross Gold Corporation seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for Fort Knox operations to coordinate mill, heap leach, and pond activities, driving safety and efficiency. You will align maintenance priorities with production needs and supervise frontline supervisors to achieve daily goals.

Responsibilities include evaluating supervisor performance, managing promotions, and coordinating with HR, safety, and environmental teams. A valid driver’s license and willingness to work shifts are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; able to read, write instructions, perform simple math, and keep records.
• BS degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred.
• Previous experience in maintenance planning and frontline supervision required.

Responsibilities

• Establish maintenance priorities with Mill Operations to meet production needs.
• Supervise multi-craft supervisors and maintain equipment availability safely.
• Evaluate performance of supervisors regarding safety, production, training, and leadership.
• Review performance evaluations and coordinate promotions or disciplinary actions with HR.
• Oversee process changes to improve gold recovery, plant availability, and safety.
• Track monthly maintenance costs and maintain records of safety meetings and incidents.
