Job summary

PotlatchDeltic Corporation is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor responsible for day-to-day plant equipment maintenance, organizing work processes, and coordinating outside contractors. This role ensures safety, budget adherence, and efficient machine operation within a mill environment.

The successful candidate will lead a crew, plan PM/two-way communications, and drive continuous improvements in safety, quality, and productivity while maintaining strong cross-department relationships.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of related maintenance experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with maintenance management systems (AX preferred).
• Demonstrated problem-solving, leadership, and strong interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks and supervise crew to ensure work is completed on schedule.
• Identify problems, troubleshoot, and take action to prevent equipment failures; monitor PM activities.
• Plan resource use and support process/operational improvements.
• Coordinate outside contractors per site contractor program.
• Lead safety practices; train and mentor team; maintain OSHA compliance.
