Job summary

SANINC is seeking an experienced maintenance supervisor for a mill environment in Houston, TX. The role requires 8–10 years of heavy industrial mechanical maintenance experience and strong hands-on knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities include supervising, training, and evaluating skilled maintenance staff, with a track record of reducing downtime through preventive maintenance, rebuilds, and effective troubleshooting of melt shop equipment such as overhead

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of heavy industrial mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in a steel mill or melt shop.
• Formal training and strong hands‑on knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience supervising, training, evaluating, and holding skilled maintenance employees accountable.
• Demonstrated success with equipment breakdowns, preventive maintenance, rebuilding, troubleshooting, and downtime reduction.
• Working knowledge of melt shop equipment such as overhead cranes, scrap‑handling systems, PLC‑supported equipment, HVAC and related service equipment.
