ASARCO LLC in Sahuarita, AZ seeks a Supervising Operator to direct crew activities, ensure a safe and efficient milling operation, and meet production targets. The role requires strong planning, SAP maintenance scheduling, and MS Office proficiency.

Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED, 5 years of crushing/milling experience, and capable English communication for technical discussions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Some college or technical school education.
• 5 years crushing and/or milling process experience.
• CEFR B2 or higher English proficiency implied for complex technical discussions.

Responsabilités

• Direct the activities of assigned crew and monitor their progress.
• Implement production plans according to an approved schedule.
• Meet production targets through crew efforts following process parameters.
• Prepare estimates of staffing, materials, and equipment requirements.
• Ensure crew follows cost-control strategies.
• Enforce safe practices and promote a safe attitude among crew members.
• Comply with environmental requirements and promote awareness.
• Keep time worked and enter into the system.
• Inspect and evaluate work in progress and direct remedial action as needed.
• Support and enforce the Company's EH&S program.
