Job summary

Ideal candidates have 5 years in crushing/milling, strong SAP planning skills, and proficient Microsoft Office usage. The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and problem-solving in a heavy industry setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work rotating shifts and holidays (24/7/365 operation).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with operation/maintenance of milling and/or similar process equipment.
• Skilled in planning and scheduling for preventive maintenance using SAP.
• Strong interpersonal skills in developing consensus building.
• Must communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Must be able to manage time effectively and set priorities.
• Skilled in resolving day-to-day questions/problems regarding equipment and methods.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group settings.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of assigned crew and monitor their progress.
• Implement production plans according to an approved schedule.
• Meet all production targets through crew efforts and process parameters.
• Prepares estimates of staffing, materials, and equipment requirements.
• Ensure the crew follows cost-control strategies.
• Enforce safe practices, ensure safe conditions, and promote a safe attitude.
• Comply with environmental requirements and promote environmental awareness.
• Keep time worked and enter into an online system.
• Inspects and evaluates work in progress and directs remedial action.
• Support and enforce the Company's Environmental, Health and Safety program.
• Ability to handle confrontation and enforce discipline strategies
