Job summary

Apex Staffing Company is hiring for a Direct Hire CNC Milling position in Indiana. The role focuses on operating and maintaining milling machines with an emphasis on quality and safety, requiring 5-axis machining experience and strong measurement skills.

Shifts include 2nd (3pm–11pm) and 3rd (11pm–7am, Sunday–Thursday). Competitive pay ($23–$25/hr) with shift premium and comprehensive benefits. Overtime may be required to meet delivery goals.

Qualifications

• Must have 5-axis machining experience.
• Previous Mill CNC operation experience.
• Strong background in mill machining.
• Skilled with precision measuring tools (micrometers, bore gauges).
• Solid math skills: geometry/trig knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain milling machines with a focus on quality and safety.
• Inspect parts throughout the process to ensure they meet specs.
• Set up workpieces using sine bars, chucks, and fixtures.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Follow quality procedures (ISO 13485, FDA, OSHA standards).
• Lift up to 35+ lbs occasionally and stand for 6+ hours per shift.

• Direct Hire — Join the team as a permanent employee from day one

• Flexible Shift Options:- 2nd shift: 3pm — 11:00pm (Monday–Friday)

• 3rd shift: 11pm — 7:00am (Sunday–Thursday)

• Competitive Pay: $23-$25/hr. based on experience
