This is a 2nd shift position

Responsibilities:
•Set up new and repeat jobs in a variety of vertical and horizontal milling machines.
•Measure, examine and test parts using CMM, optical comparator and hand tools to ensure conformance to specifications.
•Complete all required shop paperwork accurately and neatly.
•Read and interpret complex drawings and specifications.
•Gather and assemble tools, holders and fixturing.
•Evaluate repeat jobs for opportunities to improve processes and reduce waste.
•Partner with Engineering, Quality and Management on department and shop initiatives.
•Cleans and maintains machines tools to ensure all equipment stays in good working order.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Education
  • 5-10 years related manufacturing experience
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Able to manage multiple priorities
  • Possesses some computer skills and is able to learn new skills as needed
  • Must be comfortable using a variety of tools and inspection methods to ensure product quality.
  • General knowledge of Records Control, Statistical Tools, ISO Awareness, Safety, Right to Know and Employee Handbook.
  • Working knowledge of Document Control, Customer Prod/Equip, Product ID, Process Control, Inspection, Calibration, Inspection Status.
