Job summary

Lignetics seeks a Mill Equipment Operator in Oregon to run and adjust three pellet mills, perform QC checks on pellets, and monitor moisture levels and roll changes with overhead hoist safety. You will also carry out routine inspections and maintain a clean, efficient mill area.

The role supports dryer, packaging and loader operators, completes daily shift reports, and participates in down-day repairs. A forklift certification may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Requires working knowledge of all aspects of the production process.
• Requires a high degree of technical, analytical skills.
• Must be able to pass the forklift certification.
• Requires lifting up to 80 lbs safely and standing long hours.
• Requires climbing ladders and working in high temperature/humidity areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust 3 pellet mills and perform QC testing of finished pellets.
• Test incoming raw material and monitor moisture content.
• Perform roll changes on pellet mills using overhead hoist.
• Inspect process and identify issues; assist dryer and packaging operations.
• Maintain clean work area and document shift reports.
