Job summary

Freeport‑McMoRan is seeking a Mill Industrial Electrician for our Henderson mill and processing site near Parshall, CO. You will safely maintain, install, and repair electrical systems across the mill, conveyors, and related equipment in a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications include an approved electronics/electrical program or two years of industrial electrical experience, knowledge of AutoCAD prints, and the ability to work rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved electronics, electrical and/or instrumentation program or two years of industrial electrical experience.
• Experience with electrical systems in a mill environment and familiarity with safety procedures.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD prints and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, and repair electrical systems in the mill and processing areas.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical equipment and systems across conveyors and processing lines.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of motors and electrical components.
• Work on switchgear, grounding, and wiring according to procedures.
• Operate and use mobil equipment as required and support other maintenance tasks.
