Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. invites experienced electricians to join our Henderson molybdenum operation. You will maintain, troubleshoot and optimize electrical systems across mill and processing facilities, while enforcing strict safety standards.

The role requires 4+ years in industrial electrical work, familiarity with AutoCAD or prints, and the ability to lead maintenance efforts in a complex environment. On-site housing allowances apply, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Electronics, Electrical and/or Instrumentation program or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in Industrial Electrical/Instrumentation repair and maintenance or
• Associate's degree with 2 years in related field.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD drawings/prints and electronic prints
• Must demonstrate aptitude and pass required safety exams.

Responsibilities

• Safely maintain, install, repair and troubleshoot electrical systems at a Mill/Processing site.
• Perform equipment electrical analysis, advanced troubleshooting and optimization.
• Work on switchgear, grounding, LOTOTO procedures and wiring.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and calibrations; review and revise SOPs.
• Provide mentorship and training to Electrical department staff; may act as Fill-in Supervisor.
