Job summary

Domtar in Hawesville, Kentucky is seeking an Assistant Mill Controller to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control for the site.

This full-time position requires at least 5 years in manufacturing accounting, a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Business (CMA/MBA preferred; CPA a plus), and experience with SAP and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a supervisory/management capacity in a manufacturing accounting environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business; CMA/MBA; CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting (internal and external).
• Provide financial leadership for cost control and strategy.
• Lead analysis for operating and capital projects to optimize performance.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing and reporting timelines.
• Coordinate forecasting and site budgeting processes.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and effective internal controls.
