Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Wilmington, DE seeks a Manager, Formula/Milk Technician (Full-Time) to lead the formula/milk room operations and health-system nutrition services for vulnerable pediatric and neonatal patients.

The role oversees preparation, inventory, and coordination with Clinical Nutrition, ensuring safety, accuracy, and patient-centered care while managing staff and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics required.
• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential preferred.
• Minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience or lead position expected.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification required.
• Experience in pediatric, neonatal, maternal-child nutrition preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation, distribution, inventory, record keeping and ordering of patient formula, human milk, and donor milk.
• Supervise milk/formula room technicians and coordinate with other departments.
• Ensure compliance with nutrition safety standards and HIPAA, HACCP guidelines.
• Establish and manage team performance goals and department budget.
• Participate in hiring and training of milk/formula room staff.
