Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Formula/Pharmacy Technician (Full-Time) to join our team. The role covers preparing infant formulas, donor milk, and breast milk, while ensuring sterile technique and compliance with health regulations.

The technician may perform Pharmacy Tech duties if certified, support formula room operations, inventory management, and documentation. Strong math skills and healthcare experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Minimum three months of healthcare experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's in Nutrition and Dietetics preferred.
• Certifications: CphT and DTR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with formula orders, substitutions, discharge and special needs.
• Maintain sterile technique during formula preparation.
• Prepare infant formula and breast milk as ordered.
• Inventory and maintain formula room stock.
• Ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations.
• Transcribe feeding orders and prepare labels.
• Cross-train for Pharmacy Tech duties if certified.
