Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of financial counseling experience required.
• U.S. citizen with fluent English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred when contract requires.
• Must have AFC, CFP, or ChFC certification as applicable.
• Ability to obtain favorable Tier 2 clearance and OCI disclosures.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling to service members and families on installations.
• Develop spending plans for extended absences and manage finances accordingly.
• Create and publish educational financial materials and resources.
• Coordinate and deliver PFM classes/workshops across military lifecycle events.
• Utilize virtual counseling and secure telecommunication tools as needed.
• Report trends and issues to leadership and participate in supervision sessions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
