Job summary

Magellan Health is seeking a Personal Financial Counselor to deliver comprehensive financial counseling to service members and their families at Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Michigan. The role includes education, one-on-one counseling, and coordinating with installation points of contact to ensure program scope aligns with installation needs.

Candidates should have 3+ years of financial counseling experience, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience),

Qualifications

• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• U.S. citizen and fluent English.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish may be required by contract.
• Must pass OCI process.
• Certifications: AFC, CFP, or ChFC.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and families.
• Develop and deliver financial materials and classes/workshops.
• Coordinate with POC and leadership to ensure program needs are met.
• Utilize virtual counseling or electronic communication modes as applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
