Job summary

YO AI Labs seeks experienced Military Operations & Reporting SMEs to support a project evaluating and improving AI-generated DoD reporting content. The role requires practical experience with military operations, staff processes, reporting standards, and executive‑level communication.

This remote contractor position focuses on reviewing reports, synthesizing information across teams, and providing structured feedback to enhance accuracy and terminology for DoD audiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience within the U.S. Department of Defense as military personnel, DoD civilian, or both.
• Experience preparing recurring reports or executive updates for senior leadership.
• Familiarity with WARs, status reports, performance reports, AARs, or budget execution reports.
• Background in military operations, plans, headquarters/command staff, program management, or resource management.
• Strong written communication and information-synthesis skills.
• Experience as an Operations Officer/NCO, Plans Officer, Action Officer, Staff Officer, Executive Officer, or similar role is preferred.
