Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking an experienced Military Operations & Reporting SME to support a project evaluating AI-generated DoD reporting content. The role requires practical experience with military operations, staff processes, reporting standards, and executive-level communication.

The contractor will review DoD reports for accuracy, synthesize information across teams, and provide structured feedback to improve reporting quality and compliance with WARs and status reports. Remote work available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience within the U.S. Department of Defense as military personnel, DoD civilian, or both.
• Experience preparing recurring reports or executive updates for senior leadership.
• Familiarity with WARs, status reports, performance reports, AARs, or budget execution reports.
• Background in military operations, plans, headquarters/command staff, program management, or resource management.
• Strong written communication and information-synthesis skills.
• Experience as an Operations Officer/NCO, Plans Officer, Action Officer, Staff Officer, Executive Officer, or similar role is preferred.
