Job summary

HDR is seeking a Military Planner II to independently collect and analyze data, develop facility requirements, and support installation master planning. You will plan and facilitate planning workshops, prepare stakeholder briefs, and contribute to master planning documents with visuals and narratives.

The role requires travel nationally and internationally, ability to pass a federal background check, and US citizenship. AICP and advanced planning credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in urban, regional, or community planning or related field.
Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience (DoD preferred).
Ability to travel nationally and internationally as needed.
U.S. Citizenship required for client contract.

Responsibilities

Independently collect and analyze existing conditions data and develop facility requirements.
Plan and facilitate planning workshops; prepare stakeholder briefs and meeting materials.
Contribute to installation master planning documents with illustrations and text.
Lead site trip reports and workshop sessions as needed.
