Job summary

HDR is seeking a Military Planner II to independently collect and analyze existing conditions data and develop facility requirements for installation master plans. You will guide project solutions, plan standards, and site alternatives while facilitating planning workshops and stakeholder meetings.

The role involves data analysis of real property, climate impacts, and infrastructure needs, with travel nationally and internationally.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in urban, regional, or community planning or related field is required.
Minimum of 4 years of relatable work experience, with preference to DoD and other federal contracts.
Must be able to travel nationally and internationally as needed.
Must be able to pass a federal background check to obtain DoD CAC and hold U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

Independently collect and analyze existing conditions data and develop facility requirements.
Guide or supervise development of project solutions, planning standards, and site alternatives.
Prepare and facilitate planning workshop tasks, stakeholder briefs, and task meetings.
Write site trip reports and workshop narratives for installation master planning.
Lead or participate in on-site tasks and data collection with strong mathematical and analytical skills.
