Job summary

Magellan Federal - AFSC in Nebraska seeks a Personal Financial Counselor to provide on-site financial counseling and education to service members and their families at Offutt AFB. You will support budgeting, planning, and referrals, collaborating with installation leadership.

A bachelor's degree plus 3+ years of experience in financial counseling is required. U.S. citizenship is mandatory; bilingual English/Spanish may be required by contract. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
• If required by contract, bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Able to obtain a favorable DoD investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling to service members and families at military installations.
• Deliver education and briefings, including budgeting and spending plans.
• Coordinate with military POCs to ensure program scope and needs are met.
• Develop and distribute financial materials and workshops.
• Utilize virtual counseling when required and participate in supervision.
