Job summary

Goldbelt Glacier-Health Services, LLC is recruiting a Military and Family Life Counselor (SCHOOL position) to provide face-to-face, non-medical counseling to students under 18, primarily in a school setting on Holloman AFB, New Mexico.

The role supports DoDEA schools and installation communities, delivering psycho-social lessons, collaborating with teachers and parents, and offering outreach and referrals to ensure youth resilience and readiness.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a mental health-related field.
• Licensure at independent practice level (LCSW, LMFT, LPC LCPC, LMHC).
• Fluency in English; ability to pass background/suitability checks.

Responsibilities

• Work with students individually, in classroom settings, and in group activities.
• Provide psycho-social lessons/groups focusing on social-emotional development, relationships, communication, deployment stressors, grief and loss, stress, and life transitions.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote healthy social-emotional development.
• Interact with children and parents during events such as field days, awards luncheons, sports events, parent groups, and center activities.
• Conduct briefings and presentations to students, teachers, professionals, and/or parents.
• Provide referrals to participants needing higher levels of care or MFLC program eligibility.
