Goldbelt Glacier is seeking qualified School Counselors (MFLC) to support DoD Education Activity partners and DoD schools. This role focuses on face-to-face, non-medical counseling for students under 18, with brief, solution-focused approaches and deployment-related stress support.

Responsibilities include classroom and group work, collaboration with teachers and parents, and providing outreach resources. Travel within installations may be required; background checks will be completed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master's degree in a mental health-related field such as social work, psychology, marriage/family therapy, or counseling.
• Licensed independent practice credential (LCSW/LMFT/LCPC/LMHC) is required.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Must pass background/suitability checks and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Provide face-to-face non-medical counseling to students under 18, mainly in schools and military environments.
• Deliver psycho-social lessons and groups addressing social-emotional development and deployment stressors.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support children’s development.
• Engage with students and families during events and activities; conduct briefings and presentations as needed.
• Provide referral resources for higher levels of care and MFLC outreach to families and command staff.
• Document daily activities including 8 hours of direct contact and daily reporting.
