Goldbelt Glacier Health Services, Llc seeks a Military and Family Life Counselor (SCHOOL position) to deliver face-to-face non-medical counseling and outreach in DoDEA schools on Fort Wainwright, Fairbanks, Alaska. The role focuses on resilience, relationships, and emotional regulation for youths.

The MFLC is assigned to DoDEA schools and possibly local community schools, serving the full academic year. Requires Alaska licensure, CNACI clearance, and experience with children and adolescent

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a mental health-related field such as social work, psychology, marriage/family therapy, or counseling.
• License in Alaska for independent practice at the level required (LCSW/LMFT/LCPC/LMHC).
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilités

• Working with students individually, in classrooms, and in group activities.
• Provide psycho-social lessons/groups addressing social-emotional development and deployment stressors.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to support healthy youth development.
• Interact with families during events and provide outreach resources as needed.
• Submit daily activity forms and time for daily contact as required.
