Job summary

Goldbelt Glacier Health Services, Llc seeks qualified School Counselors (MFLC) to provide face-to-face, non-medical counseling in school settings for students under 18. Services focus on social-emotional development, relationships, and deployment-related stress, with collaboration with DoDEA and local schools.

Position supports MFLC program; duties include outreach to parents and installation staff, briefings, referrals, and daily reporting. Salary commensurate with experience and contract award.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a mental health-related field such as social work, psychology, marriage/family therapy, or counseling.
• Licensure at the independent practice level (LCSW, LMFT, LPC LCPC, LMHC).
• Fluency in the English language.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside and/or with students individually, in classroom settings, and in group activities.
• Provide psycho-social lessons/groups addressing social-emotional development, relationships, communication, deployment stressors, grief and loss, stress, and life transitions.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote children’s social-emotional competencies.
• Interact with children and parents during events such as field days, award luncheons, sports events, parent groups, and center activities.
• Conduct briefings/presentations to students, teachers, professionals, and/or parents.
• Provide referrals for participants needing greater care or MFLC service eligibility.
• Provide outreach services to parents and installation command staff.
• Submit activity forms daily showing 8 hours of direct daily contact; report time daily.
