Job summary

KBR is seeking a Community Resource Coordinator (CRC) at JEB Little Creek, VA to coordinate, develop and evaluate programs that enhance resiliency for service members and families. The role includes building peer support networks and leveraging DoD resources.

The Coordinator will recruit and train peer counselors, collect data for evaluations, and report outcomes. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency and a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field, or four years of social service experience.
• Minimum of two years coordinating social service education programs.
• Specialized training on peer support counseling, resources and suicide prevention.
• Must maintain current knowledge of DoD resources and community supports.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency; ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Establish and report activity of peer counseling networks.
• Collect data for program evaluations and reporting.
• Develop needs-based programming for targeted demographics and locations.
• Coordinate and network with DoD resources and family support services.
• Serve as liaison for community and family support matters to leadership.
• Communicate via media channels on behalf of the Command.
• Maintain awareness of emergency response protocols.
• Assist with development of standard operating procedures and service protocols.
