Job summary

KBR, Inc. is hiring a Special Operations Community Resource Coordinator (CRC) to coordinate and evaluate programs supporting the resiliency of service members and families. The role involves building peer support networks, recruiting counselors, and reporting data for program assessments.

The CRC will work with DoD resources and lead in developing needs-based programming for diverse demographics across commands, with relocation offered to Ft. Liberty, NC and related locations.

Qualifications

• Requires US Citizenship.
• Requires a Secret or Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in education, social services or related field or four years’ experience in social service education/coordination.
• Minimum two years’ experience coordinating social service education programs.
• Willingness to receive specialized training on peer support counseling, community resources and suicide prevention.
• Must stay current on best practices in peer support and suicide prevention and DoD resources.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, develop, and evaluate programs and services supporting resiliency of unit and families.
• Organize and oversee peer support networks for assigned commands.
• Recruit active duty and family peer support counselors and ensure vetting and training.
• Collect and report data for program evaluations and outcomes.
• Develop needs-based programming for specific demographics and locations.
• Liaise with DoD resources and lead in official processes for subpopulations.
