GE Aerospace is seeking Active‑Duty Service Members to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program, gaining real‑world experience in jet engine fan and compressor airfoil production at our Rutland facility.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machining equipment, including CNC machines, broaches, forming presses, batch operations, and benching operations.
• Perform other assigned responsibilities as needed.
• adhere to rigorous quality and safety practices and procedures.
• Follow a training plan to acquire the required skill(s).

Minimum Requirements

• Active Military Personnel
• High school diploma or GED
• At least one year of manufacturing experience or equivalent (e.g., construction, auto mechanics, heavy equipment operation, machining, assembly).
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Desired Backgrounds

• Associate’s degree or higher, or equivalent vocational/technical training.
• Certified Production Technician certification.
• Vo‑tech training or related coursework.

Desired Characteristics

• Strong communication skills.
• Problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent attendance.
• Ability to produce error‑free products.

Eligibility and Background Checks

• The position requires access to U.S. export‑controlled information; candidates must prove status as a U.S. Person (e.g., U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. citizen, asylee, or refugee).

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay: $30.60 per hour with annual progression for six years.
• Shift differential: 10% for off‑shift work.
