Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) is seeking a Military Behavioral Health Clinician in North Carolina to deliver direct clinical services within the 28-day Recovery Program.

You will serve as primary therapist, facilitating therapeutic groups, coordinating interdisciplinary care, and helping participants develop individualized Recovery plans for successful reintegration. Requirements include a Master’s in social work, five years in behavioral health, NC license (LCSW or equivalent), CPR

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work preferred; strong candidates from clinical mental health backgrounds are considered.
• Five years of experience in mental health/behavioral health; inpatient psych experience is preferred.
• Current unrestricted North Carolina license: LCSW or LCSW(A); will consider LCMHC/LCMHC-A, LMFT/LMFT-A, Licensed Psychologist with relevant military population experience.
• CPR certification and Management of Aggressive Behavior training within 90 days of employment.
• Thorough knowledge of JCAHO/HCFA, OSHA, and state/federal regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete Comprehensive Clinical Assessments (CCA).
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual psychotherapy.
• Facilitate evidence-based group therapy.
• Facilitate evidence-based individual therapy as warranted.
• Conduct family sessions when warranted.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning.
• Complete discharge planning with Case Management.

Education

Master’s Degree in social work (preferred)

Five years of mental health/behavioral health experience

Current unrestricted North Carolina license (LCSW or LCSW-A)

CPR certification

Management of Aggressive Behavior training
