Job summary

COMPASS MEDICAL PROVIDER LLC is seeking a licensed behavioral health professional to support military personnel and families at the Boise, ID site. The role provides intake, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals, with in-person work and options for telehealth as appropriate.

A Master’s in Social Work, Counseling, or related field and active clinical licensure (LCSW preferred) are required. Experience with Service Members or veterans is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
• Must be a licensed clinical provider; LCSW preferred, but other appropriate clinical licensures may be considered.
• Experience in behavioral health assessment, treatment, intervention, and referral services.
• Strong communication, documentation, organization, and program coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple responsibilities.
• Experience working with Service Members, veterans, military families, or other specialized populations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health intake, assessment, screening, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and referral services.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor clinical progress through follow-up.
• Provide services in person, by telephone, or through secure video conferencing as appropriate.
• Support crisis intervention, critical incident response, suicide prevention, and high-risk case coordination.
• Connect Service Members and families with appropriate military, state, federal, and community resources.
• Maintain knowledge of available behavioral health and community programs to provide appropriate referrals.
• Collaborate with military leadership, healthcare providers, behavioral health teams, and community resources to support continuity of care.
• Provide behavioral health education, outreach, training, and wellness initiatives.
• Provide two evidence-based relationship education courses annually.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, risk assessments, and referrals.
• Track client contacts, referrals, follow-up services, and program outcomes.
• Prepare monthly reports and assist with program evaluation and needs assessments.
• Participate in required training, meetings, chart reviews, and quality assurance activities.
