Job summary

Compass Medical Provider, LLC seeks a compassionate Behavioral Health Clinician to support National Guard Service Members and their families.

Responsibilities include intake, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals, with services offered in person, by phone, or via secure video. Licensure as a clinical provider is required; LCSW is preferred. Prior military population experience is a plus in our team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
• Must be a licensed clinical provider; LCSW preferred, but other appropriate clinical licensures may be considered.
• Demonstrated experience providing behavioral health assessment, treatment, intervention, and referral services.
• Strong communication, documentation, organization, and program coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple responsibilities.
• Experience working with Service Members, veterans, military families, or other specialized populations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health intake, assessment, screening, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and referral services.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor clinical progress through follow-up.
• Provide services in person, by telephone, or through secure video conferencing as appropriate.
• Support crisis intervention, critical incident response, suicide prevention, and high-risk case coordination.
• Connect Service Members and families with appropriate military, state, federal, and community resources.
• Maintain knowledge of available behavioral health and community programs to provide appropriate referrals.
• Collaborate with military leadership, healthcare providers, behavioral health teams, and community resources to support continuity of care.
• Provide behavioral health education, outreach, training, and wellness initiatives.
• Provide two evidence-based relationship education courses annually.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, risk assessments, and referrals.
• Track client contacts, referrals, follow-up services, and program outcomes.
• Prepare monthly reports and assist with program evaluation and needs assessments.
• Participate in required training, meetings, chart reviews, and quality assurance activities.
