Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (US Citizenship required).
• Military flight test experience in transport category airplanes.
• Commercial Certificate or FAA ATP with appropriate endorsements.
• Current FAA Class II medical certificate or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct ground, flight and maintenance test flights for experimental, prototype, new production, and modified production aircraft to determine system functionality, aircraft performance, structural integrity, and certification of aircraft.
• Contributes to technical reports, flight manuals and flight reports.
• Assists with evaluation of flight data and participates in aircraft design to recommend changes based on operational considerations.
• Collaborates on marketing, evaluation and demonstration activities for customers.
