Job summary

ERC Pathlight is seeking a Milieu Therapist to join the Mood and Anxiety Program for adolescents and adults. The Milieu Therapist facilitates groups based on core curriculum, provides meal monitoring and meal support, and offers milieu support, de-escalation, and behavior coaching to patients in IP/Res and PHP programs.

This role may require on-call shifts and involves collaboration with the Clinical Manager or Clinical Director to cover Primary Therapists, in accordance with applicable laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mental health or related field is required.
• Master’s degree in mental health or related field is required.
• Intern or associate license from state licensing board is required.
• Minimum 18 months of experience in a behavioral health or related field (waived with relevant master's degree).

Responsibilities

• Facilitates curriculum-based groups.
• Provides meal monitoring and support.
• Documents groups, meals and patient check-ins and observations.
• Provides milieu support including de-escalation and crisis management.
• Implements individual behavior management plans and leads advanced groups in evenings/weekends.
• Covers Primary Therapists with support from Clinical Manager or Clinical Director.
