Job summary

ERC Pathlight in Austin, TX is seeking a Milieu Therapist to facilitate groups, monitor meals, and provide milieu support in IP/Res and PHP programs. The role may require on-call shifts in line with business needs and applicable laws.

The position demands a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in mental health, plus an intern/associate license and at least 18 months in behavioral health. Weekend coverage is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mental health or related field.
• Master’s degree in mental health or related field.
• Intern or associate license from state licensing board.
• Minimum 18 months of behavioral health experience; waiver with relevant master’s.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates curriculum-based groups.
• Provides meal monitoring and meal support.
• Documentation of groups, meals and patient check-ins.
• Milieu support including de-escalation and crisis management.
• Lead advanced groups and cover evenings/weekends as needed.
• Coverage for Primary Therapists with supervision.
