Job summary

ERC Pathlight in Texas is seeking a Milieu Therapist to support IP/Res and PHP programs, facilitate groups, provide meal monitoring and meal support, and assist with de-escalation and behavior coaching. On-call shifts may be required.

Must have Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in mental health or related field, plus intern or associate license; minimum 18 months in behavioral health; 1+ year of group facilitation experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mental health or related degree program is required.
• Master’s degree in mental health or related degree program is required.
• Intern or associate license from appropriate state licensing board is required.
• Minimum 18 months of experience in a behavioral health or related field (experience waiver with master’s degree).
• 1+ year facilitating groups (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provides meal monitoring and support.
• Documentation of groups, meals and patient check-ins and observations.
• Provides support to Milieu including de-escalation and crisis management and other related duties.
• Implements individual behavior management plans and may lead advanced groups in evenings and weekends.
• Coverage for Primary Therapists with support from Clinical Manager or Clinical Director.
