Job summary

ERC Pathlight in the United States is seeking a Milieu Therapist to support mood and anxiety programs for adolescents and adults. You will facilitate groups, monitor meals, document sessions, and provide milieu support, de-escalation, and crisis management within IP/Res and PHP settings.

The role requires a Bachelor's and Master's in mental health, plus an intern or associate license. On-site work with some on-call shifts may be required depending on program need.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mental health or related degree program (required).
• Master's degree in mental health or related degree program (required).
• Intern or associate license from appropriate state licensing board (required).
• Minimum 18 months of experience in a behavioral health or related field (requirement waived with relevant master's degree).

Responsibilities

• Facilitates curriculum-based groups.
• Provides meal monitoring and support.
• Documents groups, meals and patient check-ins and observations
• Provides milieu including de-escalation and crisis management
• Conducts self-harm and suicide assessment
• Leads advanced groups and serves as clinical lead in evenings/weekends
