What You’ll Do:
The Relief Group Leader supports the Adult Day Treatment Center by facilitating therapeutic programming and promoting engagement among persons served on an as‑needed basis.
Group Facilitation & Direct Support
- Facilitate therapeutic groups that are process-based, expressive, activity-focused, and skill-building in nature
- Encourage participation, socialization, and positive peer interactions within the treatment environment
- Support individuals in engaging with programming and achieving treatment goals
- Assist with implementing therapeutic interventions and activities as directed
Documentation & Communication
- Complete daily therapeutic group notes to support clinical documentation requirements
- Communicate observations and concerns to the clinical team in a timely and professional manner
- Participate in supervision and team meetings as required
Program Support & Compliance
- Complete all required BAMSI and Adult Day Treatment Center trainings
- Follow all agency and program policies and procedures
- Maintain safety standards and utilize universal precautions as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Program Director
What You Bring:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field preferred OR
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a mental health setting
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to facilitate engaging therapeutic and psychoeducational groups
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with adults receiving behavioral health services
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
