In this position you will serve as the MILCON Project Programmer for Hill AFB and all of its geographically separated units with the responsibility to plan, program, and submit MILCON projects for prioritization, funding, and project authorization. Work for the 75th Civil Engineer Group Engineering Division at Hill Air Force Base. Serves as a general engineer project programmer for a wide variety of base facility and infrastructure projects in support of Hill Air Force Base mission sets.
Expertly identify requirements, plan, and program MILCON or other assigned programming efforts. This includes validating requirements, developing programming documentation, submitting projects for approval, and entering data into applicable data systems. Work will be accomplished as required by current applicable business rules.
Provide sufficient communication and customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Ensure that supervisors, base leadership, Team Hill mission partners, and any community stakeholders are informed of CE programs and projects.
Effectively ensure all documentation for project funding and project approval are completed according to business rule deadlines for all projects assigned. Understand the appropriate laws, Air Force Instructions (AFI), and business rules and follow those laws, policy and procedures to ensure projects are approved and funded on the timelines established by the Air Force.
Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period. Upon completion of your probationary/trial period, your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest.
