Job summary

Bristol Alliance of Companies seeks a Superintendent I to oversee daily construction site operations at the Marine Corps Air Station in Kailua, HI. The role emphasizes safety, on-time delivery, and budget control while supervising workers, subcontractors, and vendors.

You will coordinate with project managers and stakeholders, enforce OSHA and mil-con standards, review plans, and support estimating. Travel as needed; strong leadership and communication required.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of construction experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role on commercial or mil-con projects.
• Proficient in reading construction drawings, schedules, and government contracts (FAR, DFARS).
• Experience with projects valued between $1M and $5M.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction activities to meet schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Interpret and implement construction plans, blueprints, and specifications, ensuring compliance with government contracts or commercial standards.
• Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and maintain schedule and budget.
• Conduct quality control inspections to meet codes and military standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to provide updates and resolve issues.
