Job summary

The Seattle Fire Department seeks a regular, full-time Administrative Staff Analyst to support the Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) program. The role reports to the Program Manager and guides MIH staff, focusing on substance use disorder programs, overdose response and prevention, with work based at the SFD Headquarters in Pioneer Square.

Some remote work may be possible. Responsibilities include coordinating policy materials, training, meetings, data collection tools, dashboards, and budget

Qualifications

• Requires two years of administrative experience and a Bachelor's degree in business or public administration or related field (or a combination of education, training and/or experience that provides an equivalent background to perform the work of the class).
• Experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Experience performing data analysis.
• Experience analyzing, maintaining, and preparing budgets.
• Ability to multitask and perform assigned work with frequent interruptions.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate program activities and priorities to a variety of external partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the development of policies, training materials, guides, and standard operating procedures.
• Advise in the implementation of strategic priorities and schedule partner meetings.
• Develop, disseminate, and deliver training materials for MIH staff and operations.
• Develop, write, or advise on new Departmental or City policies as needed.
• Coordinate overdose and substance use program measurement, evaluation, and reporting.
• Lead the development of new or enhanced data collection tools and dashboards.
