Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) physician to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The role focuses on high-volume surgical care, a dedicated outpatient MIGS clinic, resident and fellow education, and participation in scholarly activity.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Completion of a MIGS fellowship from an AAGL-recognized or equivalent program.
• Board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology (ABOG or AOA).
• Advanced competency in laparoscopic, robotic-assisted, and hysteroscopic techniques for complex benign gynecologic disease.
• Robotic surgery certification with high-volume robotic experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high-volume surgical and clinical practice including complex laparoscopic/robotic gynecologic procedures.
• Serve as a departmental resource and trainer for laparoscopic/robotic gynecologic surgery.
• Perform diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy and in-office gynecologic procedures.
• Maintain a dedicated MIGS outpatient clinic for new patient consultations and follow-up.
• Evaluate and manage fibroids, endometriosis, AUB, and related conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in tumor boards and education.
