Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) physician to join our Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The successful candidate will provide expert, evidence-based, and patient-centered surgical and clinical care for complex benign gynecologic conditions, with expertise in advanced laparoscopic, robotic-assisted, and hysteroscopic procedures.

This position emphasizes growing a high-volume surgical practice, a dedicated outpatient MIGS

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology (ABOG or AOA).
• Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) approved by AAGL or equivalent.
• Proven advanced surgical skills in laparoscopic, robotic, and hysteroscopic techniques.
• Experience with high-volume robotic procedures and endometriosis surgery.
• Prior OBGYN graduate medical education or teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex laparoscopic/robotic gynecologic procedures including hysterectomy and myomectomy.
• Provide outpatient MIGS clinic services and pre/postoperative care.
• Educate and supervise residents and fellows; participate in teaching and scholarly activity.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for complex gynecologic cases.
• Contribute to ERAS protocol development and quality improvement efforts.
• Engage in departmental committees and program development as needed.
