Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) physician to join our Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The successful candidate will provide expert, evidence-based, patient-centered surgical and clinical care for complex benign gynecologic conditions with expertise in laparoscopic, robotic, and hysteroscopic procedures.

This role focuses on growing a high-volume surgical practice, outpatient MIGS clinic, and active resident/fellow

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Completion of MIGS fellowship from an AAGL-recognized or equivalent program.
• Board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology (ABOG or AOA).
• Experience with advanced laparoscopic, robotic-assisted, and hysteroscopic techniques for complex benign gynecologic disease.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex laparoscopic and/or robotic gynecologic surgeries.
• Serve as departmental resource and trainer for gynecologic surgery techniques.
• Perform diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy with selective polypectomy and myomectomy.
• Maintain a high-volume clinical MIGS clinic for new patients and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for cancer and benign gynecology cases.
• Contribute to ERAS protocol development and program quality reviews.
• Engage in resident and fellow education and scholarly activity.
