Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time, fellowship trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and contribute to the continued development of its Complex Benign Gynecology Program, with a focus on advanced benign disease and minimally invasive surgery.

The successful candidate will participate in multidisciplinary care pathways, education of students and residents, quality improvement, and scholarly activity within Albany Medical

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Successful completion of a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) fellowship.
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized evaluation and longitudinal management of patients with complex benign gynecologic conditions.
• Perform advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including complex laparoscopic and robotic procedures.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care pathways and collaborate with related specialties.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care within the complex benign gynecology practice.
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents, including operative education.
• Participate in quality improvement, outcomes measurement, research, and scholarly activity.
• Contribute to the development of Albany Medical Center's Complex Benign Gynecology Program.
