Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time, fellowship trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and contribute to the Complex Benign Gynecology Program.

The successful candidate will join a growing regional referral practice focused on advanced benign gynecologic disease, minimally invasive surgery, multidisciplinary care, education, and academic development.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school, eligible for NY licensure.
• Successful completion of a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) fellowship.
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized evaluation and longitudinal management of patients with complex benign gynecologic conditions.
• Perform advanced MIGS procedures, including complex laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care pathways for complex pelvic disease.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care within the complex benign gynecology practice.
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents, including operative education.
• Engage in quality improvement, outcomes measurement, research and scholarly activity.
