Job summary

Albany Medical College in New York is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and contribute to the Complex Benign Gynecology Program.

The successful candidate will join a growing regional referral practice focused on advanced benign gynecologic disease, minimally invasive surgery, multidisciplinary care, education, and academic development.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required with NY license eligibility.
• Completion of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) fellowship.
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and longitudinal management of patients with complex benign gynecologic conditions.
• Perform advanced MIGS including complex laparoscopic and robotic procedures.
• Collaborate on multidisciplinary care pathways for complex pelvic disease.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care within the complex benign gynecology practice.
• Teach medical students and residents with operative education in MIGS.
• Engage in quality improvement, outcomes research and scholarly activity.
• Contribute to Albany Medical Center's Complex Benign Gynecology Program development.
